Terrigal Pavilion, from the team who brought us Burleigh Pavilion, opens tomorrow on Sydney’s Central Coast

The three-in-one dining destination dishes up everything from acai bowls to tuna crudo.

Affectionately dubbed “The Pav” by locals, Terrigal Pavilion is the latest jewel in the crown for power duo Ben May and Rob Domjen (Burleigh Pavillion, The Joey, Mrs Sippy).

Formerly the Reef Restaurant, the site has undergone a two-year renovation and will relaunch tomorrow as three distinct venues.

The Pavilion will occupy the top level, while a Mediterranean-style restaurant – The Tropic – is set to open downstairs from 3 December. The team has also introduced The General Store, a hole-in-the-wall takeaway spot serving coffee, smoothies and bacon and egg rolls; as well as casual lunch options from noon.

The Pav’s wraparound deck offers 180-views of the ocean.

With sweeping ocean views, woodfired pizzas courtesy of the 2000 kilogram brick pizza oven, and a wraparound deck, The Pav is sure to bring some of Burleigh’s magic to the Central Coast this summer.

Expect plenty of group-friendly small plates – think potato scallops, fish tacos, fresh cooked prawns – joined by the usual pub suspects, including golden schnitzels, nachos and burgers.

Downstairs, The Tropics will be a more elevated affair. A wine list over 90-strong complements fresh, seafood-led dishes such as kingfish carpaccio and tuna crudo; or grilled king prawns with a fiery nduja butter. The restaurant also boasts its own private dining room for larger groups wanting to celebrate by the water.

Terrigal Pavilion will be open seven days a week, from noon until late Monday to Friday, and from 11am until late on weekends. The General Store is open from 6am; The Tropic will open from noon until late Wednesday to Sunday from 3 December.
