Escape into a world of indulgence, travelling across the seas without ever leaving Brisbane. South City Wine is more than just a venue; it’s a culinary offering a taste of Europe in the heart of the city.
Located in the vibrant South/City/SQ precinct, with sister venues Sasso and the hotly anticipated Palma, the departure from the mundane is immediate. South City Wine is fast becoming Brisbane’s culinary destination as a must-visit European escape (sans the passport).
An escape to European dining
Step out of Brisbane and into the streets of Europe when dining at South City Wine. Owner Vincent Lombino brings years of working across the world paired with his love of travelling across Europe while Group Chef Gabriele Di Landri helms the kitchen with his Amalfi Coast upbringing and mastery of continental cooking techniques.
The venue welcomes guests with alfresco dining that exudes the sophistication of Parisian charm, while the European-inspired playlist draws you in to discover more. Inside, the moody, candlelit space is accented with emerald green details, including the striking green marble bar. Behind the luxurious bar top is where you’ll find a wall filled with eclectic wine choices from across the globe.
South City Wine delights the palate

Aesthetics aside, South City Wine offers not one but two menus throughout the week, connected by their trio of impeccable in-house offers.
Tuesday through Thursday, be met with Italian flair, brought to you by sister venue Sasso Italiano (conveniently located just next door). Friday and Saturday lean into the chic and flavourful French classics.
The offers start with the newly launched chic and playful ‘Dirty Deal’, South City Wine’s take on a happy meal – cheeseburger, salt and vinegar frites and a pour-yourself gin or vodka Martini.
Enjoy curated weekly wine lists with 50 per cent off selected bottles as part of ‘Wine Down Wednesdays’. And bring your pooch along to enjoy the live music offerings on ‘K-9 and Wine’ Thursdays.
A dive into the South City Wine menus
Italian flavour

On Tuesday to Thursday, start your Italian feast with delicious focaccia and creamy burrata, then choose from 11 different pizzas, including options for vegans, seafood, and salume. If you have room for dessert, a homemade tiramisù is an excellent choice.
French flair

Friday and Saturday’s French-leaning menu offers a taste of France with options such as garlicky Escargots à la Bourguignonne and Duck Breast à l’Orange paired with fondant potatoes. Gallic dessert options include Crème brûlée and profiteroles.
